Canyon Gorge is a hydrid of the best bits of Canyoning and Gorge Walking combined into one awesome adventure.
Fresh clear highland stream water, straight off the mountains.
Just 20mins from our Aviemore changing rooms we have an awesome Canyon/Gorge where the highland stream cuts it’s way through the granite bed rock resulting in the best pool jumps, water slides and natural rock and water adventure.
We provide special thick 5mm wetsuits, wetsuit socks, shoes if needed, gloves, and all the safety gear.
Just bring swim stuff and a towel and your sense of adventure.
Ideal for adventure seeking adults and older teenagers but can be suitable for water confident younger folks, just ask us when booking.
Like our other activities at the Canyon Gorge everything is optional, which means you can miss the biggest jumps if you like and still really enjoy the activity. So it’s still fun for folk who’d prefer to do the water slides, small jumps and all the other cool things that make up this experience. But the jumps are Awesome if that’s your thing, as they are safe, super deep pools, which we have checked out for your safety and have been using for many years.
This activity also saves you over 1 hour in the car, compared to our Canyoning, so i’d generally recommend it for those wanting a great activity close to Aviemore.
