What is White Water River Tubing?
White Water River Tubing is best described as a cross between White Water Rafting and Canyoning. Now our most popular activity, everyone loves White Water Tubing. Natural water slides, fast white water gorges, jumping into deep and safe plunge pools.
The ultimate group white water adventure activity, river tubing is closer to the action than white water rafting. Sit back and bounce down the rapids, or take a bit more control to hit the best routes.

It all happens here in the beautiful Cairngorms National Park, close to our heated Aviemore changing rooms. Allow about 3 hours for this activity.

All our activities are, ‘challenge by choice’, which means you always have the choice to walk around any parts you think look to ‘full on’ and still enjoy the rest of the session. Our guides brief you before each rapid.
Please note as part of keeping you safe we reserve the right to change this activity to alternative equivalent activity in-order to still run activities if for example we have heavy rain fall and the river rises to be too high for tubing. Luckily our Canyon/Gorge activity unlike the tubing river, has a dam controlling the flows, so often we can still go there instead of the tubing if the levels are too high for safety on the tubing activity. The Canyon/gorge is an excellent activity which everyone loves, so not one is ever disappointed once they have done that instead. Very rarely we might have to cancel or reschedule, if all venues are flooded, but we always make the decision based on safety and best practice. Due to the nature of Scottish weather we are not able to give advance warning of this change until you arrive at our base as we literally cannot be sure of the levels until the 30minutes prior to the activity.
