Canyoning is a must try adrenaline sport, with big jumps in to natural rock pools, swimming under waterfalls and cascading down slides formed in bedrock. Full on canyoning is the real-deal, extreme adventure.
Go on, jump right in to canyoning
In the Scottish highlands, with mountains all around, we’re ideally placed for Full On Adventures like canyoning. If you’ve never tried canyoning, it’s a must do adrenaline sport; fresh mountain water splashing in your face surrounded by the smell of ancient Scottish pine, huge jumps into natural rock pools, swimming under waterfalls and cascading down rock slides, formed in bedrock. One of the super-sweet slab slides spits you out over a waterfall, then it’s under you go, glug, glug, glug, to surface in a big pool. The water is clear and cool, ‘refreshing,’ so it’s just as well we provide full wetsuits as well as all the necessary safety gear. For those in your group who don’t like heights or deep water we always have alternative routes.
Full On Scottish Canyoning is the original, real-deal, extreme, water and rock adventure compared to the ‘nice’ gorge walks offered elsewhere. We too can offer fun gorge walks in the Cairngorms National Nature Reserve. For canyoning we go that little bit further for the ideal location for the most intense experience.
Since we’re out there, why not fill the rest of the day with more adventure? We’ve found that many groups love a combined day of canyoning and mountain biking. We’ll even drive you up the top of the MTBing hill so good for all fitness levels.
For those wanting a full weekend of adventure you can do White Water Rafting one day then canyoning and mountain biking the next. Just ask us for more information about group and multi-activity specials.
Our canyoning is reserved for adults and older teenagers with 15yr the minimum age. For families, school and youth groups we offer the fun activity gorge walking which is the best choice for those under 15yrs.
