Corporate Case Study 1
Mini Highland Games, Ice Breakers, White Water Rafting, Archery, Quad Bikes, Off Road Driving and River Crossing Challenge.
2009 Concha Y Toro highland team builder.
Concha Y Toro is Latin America’s major wine exporter and with presence in over 130 countries, one of the world’s most important wine brands. Their brief was to run a teaming event for their UK and European management and staff, that would be fun and a challenge.
We based this business team building event in the Highlands. The first day was White Water Rafting, which was fitted into a day that they had meetings, so what an exciting way to kick things off. With such amazing natural locations the setting is stunning, the experience is exciting and people work as a team outside their normal comfort zones. A very enjoyable first day for all.
The second day we based ourselves in the heart of the beautiful Cairngorm Mountains at a highland Lodge where we used the grounds to run a variety of team building challenges, including fun ice breakers then working as teams to cross a river using a variety of basic equipment and needing lots of ingenuity.
The centre piece of the day was our ‘Mini highland Games’ which involved scaled down version of the real thing, all can take part and we even brought in a previous world champion of highland games to give great demos.
After lunch an archery competition, quad biking and off road driving.
Tea and Cakes were followed by announcement of the winning teams form the challenges of the last few days. In reality everyone was a winner, having had fun, bonded and no doubt had the space to develop new ideas with their colleagues; there by taking the value of such an event well beyond the day.
We can provide review sessions specifically designed to meet team building objectives.
