Aviemore White Water Rafting
This is the ultimate high excitement, white water rafting trip. We use the Findhorn which is a big exciting Scottish river with loads of awesome rapids, grade 4+ the hardest White Water Rafted.
Our White Water Rafting is ideally suited to those staying Aviemore, Inverness, Aberdeen, Elgin or else where in the Cairgorms National Park.
The orginal Aviemore White Water Rafting company we have been rafting the Findhorn since 1997 with 13 years of experience running the best white water rafting trips in the UK. We have amazing guides who make your trip the best white water adventure experience possible.
We recommend the all day rafting expedition for the real wilderness and White Water Experience. On the all day rafting trip you are taking part in a real adventure trip that will exceed your expectations. Stopping off on a sandy beach for lunch on the way down the river. Our white water rafting all day trips are a big hit with Stag dos, hen dos and other groups seeking adventure. Unlike some companies that are trying to crank as many people down the river in a day, we are all about giving your group the best possible experience, so no rush, just a rush of adreneline. Take your time over lunch, enjoy the surroundings, add in a barbecue and cold beers at the end of your trip, all part of a great days rafting the way it should be done, the Full On Adventure way.
Why not White Water Raft one day and then try our amazing new Aviemore River Tubingthe next.
It’s here by the Cairngorms National Park that you’ll find the UK’s best white water rafting–the River Findhorn. Just 30 minutes from our base in Aviemore and about the same from Inverness the Findhorn was originally the sole realm of white water kayakers.
When Full On started running regular full day white water rafting trips on the Findhorn’s amazing rapids we knew they would be a hit.
The Findhorn catches water from the high areas of the Monadhliath mountains, extending from Loch Ness in the West to Aviemore on the east and right up to Inverness in the northern highlands.
Stunning rock gorges squeeze that flow over granite bedrock making continuous rapids with big drops and fantastic white water all the way. The Findhorn valley is full of big old trees and high rock features that add to the wild feel of this classic white water adventure. You can do some cliff jumping along the way or if you really fancy that, we’d also recommend doing our canyoning as well, maybe on the second day of your stay in the Aviemore area.
Imagine, you’re in the office in the city on Friday and paddling hard through the incredible rapids of the Findhorn with your friends at the weekend only a short flight away. We regularly pick up groups flying into Inverness airport from London, Manchester, Liverpool, Bristol and Belfast with Easyjet, FlyBe, Ryanair or BA to take an adventure break with Full On Adventure here in the Scottish Highlands.
We’ll arrange rafting, canyoning, mountain biking or any of our activities for groups of 4+ at anytime to suit you and smaller groups and individuals can join in with the regular adventures we’re doing.
