Scotlands great range of good rivers, plenty of rain to keep them filled and some of the best river access in europe and certainly the UK make it the ideal place to kayak. Choosen to kayak in Scotland, now choose the guides that live and paddle in Scotland to teach you. By booking a Full On Adventure kayaking course, you're getting the best qualified British Canoe Union (BCU) level 4 and 5 coaches. Our guides are not just pro-kayakers that live for kayaking, they are also top coaches who have the skills to help you develop your potential as a great kayaker. If you want to try kayaking for the first time, or know you love kayaking and want to gain more experience, skills and confidence, then our Scottish kayaking courses, run by Scottish kayak coaches, are the way forward. On a Full On Adventure kayaking course you benefit from the local knowledge of Kayak coaches that live here, know the local rivers and have the local knowledge to know what is running well and when to go there. We provide the small company, personal touch that the big national centres just can't provide as well as the flexibility to work at times and in ways to suit your needs. We have access to all the facilities from swimming pools to practice rolling skills if needed to the best rivers in the UK.

We divide courses into 4 categories:

  1. Intro to river kayaking
    16 -20 April | 21 - 25 May | 18 - 22 June | 24 - 28 Sept | 1 - 5 Oct
    Takes place on grade 1-2 easy water and suitable for beginners who want to get into the sport as independent and safe kayakers. As well as river skills we'll introduce you to kayak rolling. You'll take away skills to take you to the next level of paddling enjoyment and begin the journey into the amazing world of river kayaking.
  2. Improving white water skills
    8 - 12 Oct | 5 - 9 Nov
    You've paddled grade 2-3 but would like to become more confident at that level, we'll help you get a bomb-proof roll sorted and start widening your grade 3-3+ skills and experience.
  3. Intermediate to advanced
    15 - 19 Oct | 12 - 16 Nov
    Guided exploration with skill development included. We paddle a variety of grade 3-4 runs that will give you a taste of the best of Scottish kayaking from classics to creeks.
  4. Advanced
    Advanced level courses are scheduled based on demand
    If you have a reliable roll, paddle grade 3-4+ and want to be guided on the best water Scotland can offer in the 3-5 range; this is the course for you. We will paddle the rivers and grades you are comfortable with and with our expert coaching get your paddling to a higher level. Perhaps you're planning a trip abroad or just want to consolidate your skills, or want to get the most out of a trip to Scotland by getting expert local knowledge on what's good at the time you're there. The best rivers, the best creeks at the best water levels, we've got the power to make it happen for you.

PRIVATE AND GROUP COACHING

We regularly do one-on-one coaching and coaching for groups by arrangement at times to suit you. Just ask and we'll put a course together to suit your dates and requirements.
